The Perfect Nap

Consciousness returns, slowly. I feel dry. My feet rub against the sheet — Coarse. Perfect friction. I open my eyes and see the dust flow and fly. Sunlight streams through their body and makes it possible for humans to see their ever-lasting dance. I look past the window and yawn. That’s how I know I had the perfect nap.
